Kojo no tsuki is very beautiful, well-known piece I think. Kojo means ruined castle, tsuki is the moon, so "Kojo no tsuki" actually means "The moon over the ruined castle. " It has very clear and vivid images.
This was my grandmother's favorite. Actually, I played this tune for her funeral. Unforgettable memory.
I can't help thinking this music has a very strong and strage power. I never ever forget what I experienced before. I was playing on the stage, and the venue was very wide space.(like a department store) People come and go, always crowded.
As soon as I started to play this, people actually "STOP" moving!! Yes, it is true. They physically stop their movements. I think they listened the tune, felt something, and the "something" made them frozen!!
Anyway, everytime I play this melody, I always experience the kind of "power".
